外来でサポーターを案内するときに、「薬局でどんなタイプをを購入したらいいですか？」と相談を受けることが多いです。
そうだね。院内の売店などでおいてあればいいんだけど、実際にはドラッグストアなどで患者さん自身に選んで購入してもらうことが多いよね。

手指

手指の変形性関節症（ヘバーデン結節やブシャール結節）の痛みにたいして、関節の動きを制限するための防水の指サポーターだよ。

突き指（靱帯損傷）にたいするバディーテープ。側副靱帯の軽度損傷が疑われるときに、使用することが多いよ。

CM関節症（母指の付け根の痛み）に対して、関節の動きを制限して痛みを軽減するサポーターだよ。母指から手関節にかけて固定するタイプになるよ。

手関節ガングリオンは手関節内の圧の上昇によって、関節内のゼリーが関節外に押し出されることで嚢腫が膨らむよ。そのため、手関節の動きを制限することで、嚢腫の膨らみは軽減することが多いよ。手関節ガングリオンの術後でも使用することが多いよ。
