英語では針が2本ついている糸を、double-needle または double-armedっていうんですね!
そう、あと糸が輪っかになっているものを looped suture と呼ぶよ。

■ Modified Kessler suture technique

以下のイラストは、modified Kessler の手技をstep by stepで解説したものだよ。わかりやすく伝えるために糸は1本で描いているけど、実際の屈筋腱縫合では上記の両端ループ針(針が両端に2本あり、その間の糸が輪っかになっている)を使用するため、1回針を通すと2本の糸が通ることになるよ。一通りの操作が終わると、腱断端には4本の糸が通る(=4-strand)ことになるよ。
