以下のイラストは、modified Kessler の手技をstep by stepで解説したものだよ。わかりやすく伝えるために糸は1本で描いているけど、実際の屈筋腱縫合では上記の両端ループ針（針が両端に2本あり、その間の糸が輪っかになっている）を使用するため、1回針を通すと2本の糸が通ることになるよ。一通りの操作が終わると、腱断端には4本の糸が通る（＝4-strand）ことになるよ。

He also has an interest in art anatomy and medical illustration, and lectures and writes about the fusion of art and medicine. In his educational activities, in addition to teaching students and residents, he is also involved in international medical exchange and disaster medicine as the director of the Association for Southeast Asian Medical Research (Ajiken).
